If Wal-Mart wants you to checkout at the self checkout, why don't those registers give you a discount since you are doing the work?

You call checking yourself out as work? I call it convenience.

Why does it take over 6 hrs to unload and check in a trailer that was picked up sealed from another Walmart DC? This is the most inefficient Walmart DC anywhere.

You can ask for help from an associate And Most Likely Not Get it. Other customers will help sooner than employees

Is there overnight parking for big rigs waiting to get unloaded

No. But most just wait in parking lot

Ever since self checkout came into Walmart I see less less cashiers last time I checked we are paying customers so I have if I have to use self checkout than why don't yall give the customers a discount ocashiers unl

Walmart has always had a door greeter, so the head count isn't a new position just new title.
